Material options

Anodised aluminium

The standard for industrial nameplates. The anodising layer provides abrasion, chemical and UV resistance, and the print is surface printed – protected from the operating environment.

Stainless steel

Specified where the operating environment is corrosive, abrasive, or simply demands a stainless aesthetic – process plant, food and beverage, marine and rail rolling stock.

Engraved laminate

Two-tone phenolic and acrylic laminates engraved to expose the contrasting core. Specified for control panel, instrumentation and operator-interface identification.

Finishing & marking processes

Photochemical etching (Just chemical used as key for inks)

A permanent, surface marking process for metal nameplates. Resists abrasion, solvent and UV exposure for the life of the plate.

Laser engraving

High-precision marking with crisp line detail. Used on stainless, anodised aluminium and engraved laminate.

Digital print plastic labels

Where a colour print or photo-realistic graphic is required, with appropriate over-laminate or anodised protection.
